Just make sure the microswitch is the same as in the G502 in terms of location of the button, all outside dimensions, and the 3 pins (G502 disassembly guide link further below). I think these microswitches are of a standard design and can be found in mice made by many different manufacturers. It now works better than ever, and there's 4 more microswitches in that old mouse I can use if I ever need to. Look for D2FC-F-7N Microswitches - about $10 for 4 or 5 of them.īut I replaced my G502 LMB microswitch with one I desoldered from a dirt cheap mouse I paid $7 for on Aliexpress years ago. Replacement microswitches for the G502 can be purchased on Amazon. If it doesn't work at all, and Logitech's software suggestions in this thread don't help, then it's the microswitch. Try this yourself, does it work a little better when you hold down the LMB in different locations? If yes, the microswitch NEEDS to be replaced. The reason for my high skepticism that software could be the problem in my case (and probably most other cases) is I could hear the mouse click wherever I pushed down on the button paddle, BUT, when I pushed down in different locations particularly more towards where the cable comes out (front?) it worked better. They never mentioned that it could, and most likely be a hardware problem.
